tenThing Brass Ensemble

Founded in 2007 under the leadership of Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth, tenThing is a vibrant collaboration among a group of female brass musicians. Over the years, this ten-member ensemble has earned worldwide recognition and praise for their dedication to making music accessible and engaging. tenThing is known for their diverse repertoire, which encompasses a wide range of composers, from Mozart to Weill, Grieg to Bernstein, and Lully to Bartok. They closely collaborate with the Norwegian guitarist and arranger, Jarle Storløkken, to adapt scores for the ensemble, allowing them to perform pieces originally composed for various instrumentations.
